On 15 May 2010, Saturday at 09.30-13.30 Lecture with the title “Holistic education for gifted students”.
- On June 21st 2009, in the Central Building of the Athens University, at the Amphitheatre Ioannis Drakopoulos, during the One-day Conference with the title “Experimental Schools in Public General Education: The End or the Beginning?”, Nasos Tsiamis, School Psychologist and Treasurer of our Society presented a lecture with the title “Gifted children and Experimental Schools: An interesting coincidence”.
- During the 1st Panhellenic Conference of Educational Sciences (Athens, May 28-31, 2009), Kostas Mylonas, Assistant Professor of the Department of Psychology of the University of Athens and Member of the Board of Directors of our Society, presented a lecture with the title: “Gifted students’ identification through psychometric and statistical criteria: Method, usefulness and perspectives”. The presentation has been included in the Symposium “Children with High Abilities for Learning at School: Psychological and Paedagogical Approach”, convened by Elias Matsagouras, Professor of the Department of Elementary School Teachers’ Education of the University of Athens and discussed by Professor S. Polychronopoulou.
- On 5th of April, 2009, during the scientific activities of the “1st Pan-Ηellenic Congress of Cognitive/Behavioral Approaches in Children and Adolescents” (Harokopion University, Athens, April 3-5 2009), a Symposium was organized by the Society with the title:
"Cognitive characteristics development of the gifted children and adolescents: Family and school contributions”. The speakers of the symposium were:
Aikaterini Gari (Convenor), Angeliki Gena (Discussant), Nasos Tsiamis, Vassiliki Nikolopoulou, & Chrissoula Stergiou.
- On Wednesday, 2nd of April 2008, 18.00-19.30, a lecture was presented at the AULA amphitheatre, School of Philosophy, the University of Athens, Panepistimiopolis, Ilisia, under the title:
“Gifted children psychosocial and educational characteristics: stereotypes and realities”
Dr. Aikaterini Gari, Assistant Professor of Social Psychology, University of Athens was the Invited speaker and Dr. Hellen Tzelepi-Giannatou, Person in charge for evaluation of the Paedagogical Institure of Greece was the chair. This scientific meeting, was a part of the 2nd year of training seminars for teachers and parents, under the title “Psycho-paedia”, which has been organized by the Postgraduate Program of School Psychology of the University of Athens and the Branch of School Psychology of the Hellenic Psychological Society in cooperation with Filekpaedeftiki Etairia (Arsakia-Tossistsia Schools).
- On Saturday, November 29th, 2008, 9:00-12.30 local time, a scientific meeting was organized at the Amphitheatre of the Hellenic American Union, 22 Massalias str, Athens, with the title “Parents and Teachers: The “Significants Others” in the environment of the Gifted Children and Adolescents”. Keynote Speaker was Maria Malikiosi-Loizou, Professor of Counselling Psychology at the Department of Early Childhood Education, University of Athens. The speakers of the symposium were: Aikaterini Gari (Convenor), Nasos Tsiamis & Chrissoula Stergiou.
- On 5th of December 2007, 18.00-20.30 local time, a Symposium was organized under the title:
"Creative children and adolescents: Educational opportunities and perspectives",
at the Amphitheatre of the Hellenic American Union, 22 Massalias str, Athens (hau@hau.gr).

At the end of his speech, Mr Leonidas –Fivos Koskos, Managing Director of the Hellenic American Union, awarded to Mr Paraskevopoulos the status of Honorary President of the Society.
